Here is some behind the scenes footage from a short film I worked on as the Cinematographer.
The director of the film, Allen Parker, put together a video using footage captured on set. It’s a pretty cool edit because he mixed behind the scenes footage of us working with shots from the finished film. I also have some BTS photos at the bottom of this post.

Here is a quick rundown on the project.
Allen found me online while he was looking for a Cinematographer in Atlanta. The film is a short horror film with some dark dramatically lit scenes. He was looking to hire an entire crew and had a budget to do it, so I was able to bring on a Gaffer, 1st Assistant Camera, Grip and Electric Swing, and a Production Assistant.
We shot the film on my RED Komodo-X with a vintage Leica-R lens set. The film took three days to shoot. Most of it was filmed in one location, but on the last day we had to cheat another location to look like the first one, which was a challenge.
Overall, it was a great project to work on. I always like getting the chance to do narrative work, especially when there is enough of a crew to actually light scenes and take the time to make the shots look good.
